16 Mar 2006 10:54We sat and watched Tarzan (the Disney animated version) last night instead of Criminal Minds (mostly because it was yet another repeat and one I really didn't want to see again so soon).
I'd forgotten just how much I adore the Disney version, especially as it's obvious that they used Christopher Lambert's face from Greystoke, the Legend of Tarzan, as the basis for the grown Tarzan's face.
*hugs both movies to her chest with lovies*
I read Tarzan when I was a teenager and loved the visuals that it conjured in my brain. Later obsessions...I mean infatuations....uh...okay, I was a big(ger) geek as a teen and read the Conan stories, Tarzan, most of the old 30/40ths explorer type novels. Before that I was on a big historical/regency kick and nearly memorized Jane Erye and Little Women....
Sigh....the memories of my teen years.
