Have a photo of a glorious sunrise:

This morn we, as we have for the past 15 or so years, got up long before the dawn and made our way across the valley and over the bridge to Gasworks Park in Seattle to celebrate the dawning of the May with Morris dancers, a hobby horse, coffee and companionship!
The weather could not have been more delightful, I was pretty comfortable in my sleeveless dress with shrug and sandals. I'll admit the fingers and toes got a little cold, but it was sooooo pretty.
Afterwards we headed to the funky side of Seattle for breakfast and Beth's Cafe, home of the 12 egg omelet (I kid you not). No, I've never even attempted one, but yeah they are supposed to be great.
And how did you celebrate the First of May?

Date: 7 May 2011 15:58 (UTC)Then took a drive back home in the glorious sunshine, through the town crawling (not literally, because they stood there - they were statues, after all) with dinosaurs, back through Toppinish where I proceeded to spill chicken gravy down my pant leg, then got home and began cleaning and putting everything away from the trip.
