Across the sky I reach for you

So the hours slowly creep up to midnight to flip the day over to my natal day and it occurred to me that birthdays are just another day for me at this point in my life.

Don't get me wrong, I love for folks to offer me birthday wishes and all that but if asked what I want, its as simple as a card and a good day with the family.

So, does anyone else feel this way (other than the Beloved Spouse with whom I already had this conversation)?  It dawned on me as we were wandering through Whole Foods that there was little I wanted or needed other than a job that I liked or free schooling until I get my degree.
