After seeing Serenity this past week all I can think about is writing a Kaylee/Inara story....

So what I need from you dear friends, is the answer to this question: "How long after the end of Firefly does Serenity take place, does any one know?"

I'm going try and exorcise the bunny by writing this weekend.

Also -- broke tooth = pain...I can make it to Tuesday....then root canal and crown....sigh, but hopefully less pain at the end. that's the important thing.

Accrding to http://www.fireflywiki.org/Firefly/FireflyTimeline?action=diff it takes place less than a year after the series. I would have said a bit longer, but I do recall River being 16 in the series and 17 in the movie - but we all know how my memory is.
