It's a new year already?

alphawerewolf is healing nicely from her surgery and lifes getting back to normal in the house once again.
I had today and tomorrow off *squeeee*. I loff it when I have a long weekend, however I spent the morning fighting with the computer which looks like it needs to be flattened and rebuilt. Sigh.
I was finally able to get on and check email and LJ this evening. You all are prolific, you know that don't you?
1. What did you do in 2004 that you've never done before?
sat with the youngest spawn overnight in the hospital
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I made realistic ones this year (gain ten pounds, watch more tv, read more p0rn...)
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Several co-workers, but we aren't really close
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Not this year
5. What countries did you visit?
the republic of George, wherein I saw the loss of civil liberties and basic human rights
6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
A real president

I didn't kill anyone

toys for the spawn, stuff for the hubby

I honestly can say that I do not HATE anyone. I dislike a bunch of folks, but they aren't worth the energy to hate.

That's a tough one. I've read many, but I really enjoyed Wen Spencer's third Ukiah Oregon novel, the various Liadan novels and short stories...

VAST

A family Yule

Spent the day with family. I turned 42.

The ability to travel more

The non-election both locally and nationally. The view of my country as a joke worldwide over the political joke that's resided in the White House for the past 4 years.

Connie, Clemeth, Sterling, TGrey

I've actually not been much for meeting folks this year, but I liked many of the folks who I got the chance to meet at the Gathering.

That working 45+ hours a week does not end financial burdens, you just end up spending more.
That the electoral process is a sham. That life is not fair (okay, I already knew that one...)
