nephirthen I spent a large part of the night dreaming about it....possible ways for the author to take the story now that there's this delicious cliffhanger sitting there...if you are interested in the dream stuff, look behind the cut. Many many spoilers...
The chapter ends with Xander summoning Erzulie and slicing his own throat for the blood needed...bwaaaaaaaaaaa!
My dreams took me to Erzulie manifesting and healing Xander, as he is her Joli Coeur, and once they've taken down that bitch Dominiga, he returns to his home, with his lovely were-hyenas (Ajax and Ulyesses) in tow to find the three pan-weres waiting there to accept Xander as their alpha....
Multiple sex pairings happened then, Xander and the two hyenas, Xan and Graham, Xan and Josh, Larry and Xan, all of them together at some point or another.
Oh well.... sweet dreams are made of this....
