Random notes in the key of Nephir

Work this week was weird - between illnesses at work and folks getting ready to go to other positions it took on a bit of a surreal cast.

Went to Shawn of the Dead last night -- I'm not sure I've ever laughed so hard at a *horror* movie in my life. I really loved the producers' comment about the movie:
"If Dawn of the Dead is Hamlet, then Shawn of the Dead is Rosencrantz and Gilderstern are Undead"
And that pretty much sums it up. The spouse, spawn and I all found it far too funny in a bizarre British sort of way.

New to LJ writer reremouse asked for drabble requests. I asked for cannon-ish Angel and Xander -- *squees loudly and hugs drabble to her chest, petting it softly* and got Manly Platonic Hand-Holding

Gaming today -- for those of us who are old shits, that means RPGing with dice and paper, not computers.
