Yes...we are still alive

We are still without power & water...have been since @7:00 on Thursday evening. No real damage at our place *thanks all the Gods for sparring us*, just tree brances down and clean up. One neighbor had a tree come down on their garage and there are trees down everywhere up and down our road but we are all fine.

Our power came back on yesterday afternoon, which is a great thing, since we have electric heat and it got well down below freezing last night, with bonus freezing rain.

Worst thing at my house was cows in the yard, but my BIL had to walk back in to the barns and drag about thirty trees out of the lane before he could go feed, and a doug fir limb about eight inches in diameter and thirty feet long scraped down the lee side of my sister's roof and ended up in the back yard.

I don't know about you, but I've had quite sufficient winter already, and it doesn't officially start until Wednesday.
