Day 06 – Your day
6 Sep 2010 15:45It's been a somewhat busy day here as Chez Nephir...
We've been having a water issue in our house in that we don't have any. We are on a shared well and usually we have a day or two of little water towards the end of summer, however this year we apparently sprung a leak under the house where a pipe connection finally just blew out from water pressure.
As a result we've been without water for a couple of weeks. Our neighbor, bless him, is in the process of replacing the connections today (in the rain no less) and *fingers crossed* we will have water by this evening.
So, while all this has been going on I've been cleaning up the Youngest Spawn's space. Today I went out and picked up hooks so that I could hang her hat collection up. That is step one, step two will be clearing out the clothing she can no longer wear out of her room, and them shelving and getting the rest of the stuff put away so that she'll have a lovely clean room when she gets back from house sitting.
Between trips into the room to vacuum and hang hooks (they have to rest for an hour before I can add weight to them) I'm taking breaks and answering emails.
How is your Labor Day (if you are in the US) going?
