The Resident (Occupant) has moved out. She came out from the bedroom Saturday morning and said that her friend was coming by to pick her and her stuff up. He shows up and then for the next 2 hours here is silence from the bedroom, then he starts coming out with bags of stuff.
After about 5 trips out to the car she comes out and tells us all goodbye.
I hope she does well at her new place, I hope that they are ready to be taken advantage of. She won't be back except maybe a visit if I have anything to say about it.
Spent the afternoon with the Youngest Spawn. She and I headed into Fall City for a friends birthday tea, then headed off to Target to meet up with Eldest Spawn for shopping goodness.
Unfortunatly Youngest Spawn is on her second go around with Bactrin in the hopes of killing off her sinus infection from Hell, and while we were wandering around Target she began to get feverish, dizzy and loopy. We went to the little cafe area, I got her a soda and we waited for Eldest Spawn. Once she got there we headed home.
Been watching Space Above and Beyond. I really liked it the first time around and was sorry it never lasted more than the one season. Found all of it on DVD at one of the local stores and picked it up. We've been rewatching (and first time viewing for some of us)the entire series. It has held up well I think. I know that the Youngest Spawn is enthralled with it and the characters. I may actually eventually get her to watch Due South with me.
Sunday was a lazy day around the house -- I did laundry and tried to nap. That was the extent of it for me.
