I remember those commercials! They're the reason I put off watching Buffy for years - the first time I ever saw it was at my parents' house and my mom pointed out the Taster's Choice guy. I (apparently losing all ability to censor myself) said, "That's right! It is him. I'd do him."

There was trauma. And non-watching of Buffy after :)
