Last night was the Multifaith Pride Service held at the Pilgrim's Congregational Church (I think that's the right name...) on Capitol Hill (Seattle for those of you that are elsewhere).

Lovely ceremony -- leaders from several different faiths came and talked about the fight for gay marriage. There was a NA speaker who invoked blessing of the four sacred spaces at the beginning. A couple of rabbis, a baptist minister, the minister of the church where it was being held, an catholic (ex)priest, a wiccan priest and a buddist priest all gave brief homilies on the act of marriage, then anyone who wanted to commit or re-commit to one another came forward and were joined together.

I look forward to the day when ceremonies like these actually come with a LEGAL certificate.
